What is Journalism?
Nitin Saxena: "Journalism is the production and distribution of reports on the interaction of events, facts, ideas, and people that are the "news of the day" and that impacts society to at least some degree. The word applies to the occupation (professional or not), the methods of gathering information, and the organizing literary styles. Journalistic media include: print, television, radio, Internet, and, in the past, newsreels."
How I got into Journalism?
Nitin Saxena: "After completing my diploma in Journalism, I started working as a Journalist with Morning Echo (Hindustan Times) in 1977. I have been working since last 40 years in various newspapers and magazines at different profiles. With the thought of sharing this experience, I have started teaching Journalism in various Universities and Institutions."
