Atul Kumar: "A factory manager is typically the most senior manager in an industrial factory or manufacturing plant, with responsibility for all the activities of the factory. The factory manager's objectives are usually tied to the amount and quality of the items that the factory is producing."
How I got into Factory Management?
Atul Kumar: "I am a BA graduate, post that I did MA in Modern History and then got placed at Titan Company Ltd. as a sales representative. I worked for 15 years before getting promoted to the post of Factory Manager. I looked after Factory Operations for 10 years and got retired in 2012 as Group Manager, North India. I worked for 25 years at Titan Company Ltd."
