Hemlata: "Human rights are moral principles or norms that describe certain standards of human behaviour, and are regularly protected as natural and legal rights in municipal and international law."
How I got into Human Rights Protection?
Hemlata: "I have done Bachelors and Masters in Law. I have also done Ph D in Law. I worked as a Lawyer for some time before appearing for IAS exam. I served in Indian Administrative Services for 40 years. I took retirement and became a member with Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission."
