What is Banking Regulation?
Vartul Agrawal: "Bank regulation is a form of government regulation which subjects banks to certain requirements, restrictions and guidelines, designed to create market transparency between banking institutions and the individuals and corporations with whom they conduct business, among other things."
How I got into Banking Regulation?
Vartul Agrawal: "After doing my schooling from Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy Dehradun, I did my B Tech in Computer Science from Tulas Institute, Dehradun. After that, I did MA in Economics from Mumbai University and then worked for Union Bank, Dehradun. Thereafter, I joined RBI as Manager in Forex Exchange Department working on Banking Regulation."
