How I got into Independent Accountancy?
Luisa Amelia Miranda: "I practically liked the commercial activity at the age of 13. Therefore I decided to do my secondary in The School of Commerce Republica de Panama in Concepción, Tucumán, Argentina. There, I graduated in the year 1974, with a secondary degree with commercial orientation. Once I finished my high school I entered the UNT in 1975 and got my degree as an accountant in October 1979. At the end of the first year, I was hired in an internship at the Science and Technology Department, as a translator because I knew English since I had been awarded a scholarship for one year in the United States. The work consisted in making Spanish translations of the Latin American index of poverty. Once I finished university, I returned to my hometown and began working as a teacher in the School of Commerce Republica of Panama, teaching subjects related to my profession. "
