What is Professional Cooking?
Pawan Kukreja: "Cooking is the art, technology and craft of preparing food for consumption with or without the use of heat. The ways or types of cooking also depend on the skill and type of training an individual cook has. Cooking is done both by people in their own dwellings and by professional cooks and chefs in restaurants and other food establishments"
How I got into Professional Cooking?
Pawan Kukreja: "I have done B Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from IHMCT&AN, Chennai. I started my career as a chef with Inter-Continental-The Grand, New Delhi and then Mumbai. I have worked with hotels like Lalit Resort & Spa, One and Only Royal Mirage, The Orchid, Radisson Blue. I am working as an Executive Chef at Ramada, Dehradun."
