What is Social Entrepreneurship?
Deshna Mamgain: "Social entrepreneurship is the use of the techniques by start up companies and other entrepreneurs to develop, fund and implement solutions to social, cultural, or environmental issues. This concept may be applied to a variety of organizations with different sizes, aims, and beliefs."
How I got into Social Entrepreneurship?
Deshna Mamgain: "After doing my schooling, I did Textile Designing from NIFT. Post that, I worked with NCDPD on Government Projects for some time. I always wanted to promote the crafts of Uttarakhand, so started a self help group and later formed an NGO by the name Kauthik."
