What is Teaching Art?
Prenita Dutt: "Art education was combined with special education even before there were reforms to create special accommodations for children with special needs in typical classrooms. Teaching art to disable children is the area of learning that is based upon only the kind of art that one can see like drawing and painting. Teaching art is an empirical activity which involves seeing, interpreting and discovering appropriate marks to reproduce an observed phenomenon."
How I got into Teaching Art?
Prenita Dutt: "After doing my Schooling from CJM, Dehradun I did my Graduation in Psychology from JMC, Delhi. After that I did my B Ed from HN Bahuguna University. Thereafter I did Diploma in Counselling .In 2009 I started teaching art to disabled children at Action for Ability Development and Inclusion (AADI)."
