After that, he started his career in Textile Industry where he worked for 7 years and along with that he completed his diploma in Textile Manufacturing from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Matunga. In June, 1988 he got job in Indian Railways as an Assistant Commercial Clerk and he retired on 31st March 2017 as a Chief Luggage Supervisor from Western Zone of Indian Railway.
