Dr. Arun Kumar Shah did his schooling from Dehradun and Jhansi. He did B Tech in Metallurgy from IIT Roorkee, M Tech from IIT Kanpur, and then did Ph D in Metallurgy from IIT Bombay. Later he did PG Diploma in Metallurgy from Germany and also attended the National Defence College in Delhi. He worked in DRDO for 30 years in Material Research and Building Technology. After his retirement he worked in Engineering Education as a Professor and Director in Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology. He also worked as the Professor and Director at THDC-IHET (Tehri). He has also written research papers in National and International Journals. In 2016, he started Living Greens Hydroponics which promotes soil free farming and also conducts Hydroponic Farming Workshops.
