Dr. Pravesh Kumar did his schooling from Sarvodya School New Delhi. After that he did BA, MA, M Phil and Ph D in Political Science from Delhi University. He taught Political Science in Dyal Singh College, Delhi University and then started teaching Comparative Politics in JNU, New Delhi. He has written four books and more than 30 articles till now.

What is Teaching Political Science / What is a Career in Teaching Political Science: Political science is a social science which deals with systems of governance, and the analysis of political activities, political thoughts, and political behavior. It deals extensively with the theory and practice of politics which is commonly thought of as determining of the distribution of power and resources.
