Saswati Singh did her Schooling from Pratt Memorial School, Calcutta. After that she did her Graduation in Botany from Presidency College. She also did her MSC from Presidency College itself. She did her M Ed from Annamalai University. She also did her Special Education from IGNOU University. She has worked in various places one as a Principal and also as a Biology Teacher. She has been doing Social Work since 1995.

Social Work Course / How I got into Social Work: "After completing my Schooling from Pratt Memorial School, Calcutta, I did my Graduation in Botany from Presidency College. I also did MSC from Presidency College itself. I did my M Ed from Annamalai University, Chennai. Apart from that I did my Special Education from IGNOU University.
