What is Quilting / What is a Career in Quilting: Quilting is the process of sewing two or more layers of fabric together to make a thicker padded material, usually to create a quilt or quilted garment. Typically quilting is done with three layers, the top fabric or quilt top, batting or insulating material and backing material, but many different styles are adopted.

Quilting Course / How I got into Quilting: "After doing my schooling from Assam, I did my graduation from Nehru College, Assam. I was teaching English to small children in Assam thereafter came to Dehradun and have been working with Himalayan Tapestry as a Quilter since 2008."
