Paula Ciana Patal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursuring from San Pedro College. She is a registered nurse in the Philippines. Aside of being a nurse she is also a video content creator for YouTube. A few years ago she started making makeup tutorials for YouTube and Facebook and participated in Beauty Bound Asia, an online competition sponsored by Procter & Gamble. After winning the competition, she started getting a lot of inquiries about her makeup services. Over the last few years, she has taken up various makeup assignments for events such as weddings, fashion shows and editorial photo-shoots. Currently, she is an in-house makeup artist for fashion shows and events for one of the biggest retail stores in the Philippines.

What is Makeup Artistry / What is a Career in Makeup Artistry: A makeup artist is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatrical, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry.

Makeup Artistry Course / How I got into Makeup Artistry: "I decided to pursue my passion in Makeup Artistry after finishing my Bachelors degree in Nursing. A few years ago I started making makeup tutorials for YouTube and Facebook. In 2015, I won Beauty Bound Asia, an online competition sponsored by Procter & Gamble in the Philippines. This gave me a formal entry into the beauty and makeup industry. Currently, I am an in-house makeup artist for fashion shows and events for one of the biggest retail store in the Philippines."
