Smrity did her schooling from St Patric, Agra. She then completed three years in Commercial Arts from Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai. She started painting in 2005 and started Tanshi Arts. She had her first solo exhibition in 2007.

What is Painting / What is a Career in Painting: Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a solid surface or base. The medium is commonly applied to the base with a brush, but other implements, such as knives, sponges and air brushes can be used.

Painting Course / How I got into Painting: "I did my schooling from St Patric, Agra. I then completed three years in Commercial Arts from Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai. I started painting in 2005 and started Tanshi Arts. I had my first solo exhibition in 2007."
