Vidhu Gairola, PE did B Sc in mechanical engineering from BHU, Varanasi (India) and MS in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY, Buffalo (NY). He has 40+ years of experience in all areas of rotating equipment engineering. He has worked with Standard Oil Co, Cleveland, Ohio and Cities Service Co, Petrochemical Division. He was also a part of a start up team for MTBE plant in Saudi Arabia. He has undertaken several projects at DASCO in Saudi Arabia. He has conducted training programs for plant personnel at OMIFCO, Sur (Oman), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Indian petroleum companies and for petrochemical and chemical companies in Saudi Arabia. He has also authored several books on rotating equipment engineering and steam turbines. He has published and presented several papers at institutes such as ASME, Vibration Institute, Institute of Engineers, etc. He also has a Professional Engineer's License from the state of Michigan (USA).
