He started working while he was in first year of college and has co-assisted Dhruv Vaish, Manish Tripathi, Sandeep Acharya, Diesel and many more other brands. He has his own brand by the name Ankur Zyan Kapoor.

Because of the time required to bring a garment onto the market, designers must at times anticipate changes to consumer tastes.
