At its core, technology entrepreneurship is the practice of founding companies that leverage technology to deliver innovative products or services. Handa describes it as any business that operates on a technological platform, such as mobile applications or web-based services. Notable examples include Swiggy and Uber, which utilize technology to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. Understanding this definition is crucial, as it underlines the significant role technology plays in facilitating business growth and competitiveness in today’s economy.

Handa points out that whether from a management or technical background, entrepreneurs need to master the art of managing individuals and teams. Superior people management skills help navigate workplace dynamics, ensuring that team members feel valued and motivated to contribute towards the company’s vision. For example, establishing a culture of feedback can greatly enhance team performance and cohesion.

Such unpredictable business climates necessitate agility and foresight from technology entrepreneurs to sustain their operations.

Client Satisfaction

### Client Satisfaction Image

Meeting client expectations can be particularly tricky in technology entrepreneurship. Handa states that clients often have varying levels of understanding regarding technology, which complicates communication and project delivery. This discrepancy can lead to frustration if expectations are not managed effectively, highlighting the importance of clear dialogue.

Fixed Recurring Cost

### Fixed Recurring Cost Image

Managing operational costs is another ongoing challenge. Handa emphasizes that human resources form a significant part of a technology company's expenditure. In times of slow growth or economic downturns, maintaining these fixed costs can strain finances and necessitate strategic planning.

Lastly, sourcing the right talent can prove difficult. Despite the abundance of technical graduates, many lack the practical skills required by employers.
